Dear Sushi Cafe Customers and Family,
Our customers and staff are of the utmost importance to Sushi Cafe, and as the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation evolves, we want you to know that your safety is our top priority. We want you to know what we are doing to keep you safe so you’ll feel secure and confident about Sushi Cafe.
It is important that you, our valued customers, continue to have access to Sushi Cafe during this uncertain period. Dining out is always a fun experience and we're maintaining our regular hours while following all health and safety guidelines. You can also stop by to pick up to-go orders.
We have always been extremely diligent in following all food safety regulations, and we are doing the same in this situation. We are closely monitoring and following the directions of trusted local and federal agencies, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and the World Health Organization (WHO). We are happy to note that the CDC has stated that “currently there is no evidence to support the transmission of COVID-19 associated with food”.
Our staff continues to follow vigorous hand-washing and glove-wearing protocol and we always encourage customers to do the same. We have increased the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing high-touch surfaces such as doors, door handles, tables, restrooms, reception desks, and other public areas.
We continue to require those staff members who shows any kind of illness go home and remain at home with proper recovery time before returning to work. We also continue to allow unlimited time off for any staff member who is ill or needs to tend to family members. Our employees are as concerned as we are about keeping Sushi Cafe safe for staff and customers and they are following all of the above.
